About Me

I am a Registered Social Worker and hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Sir Wilfrid Laurier University with over 10 years of clinical experience. I’ve worked in outreach services, community based-mental health agencies and began my private practice 6 years ago. As a professional, I am committed to deepening my understanding of human psychology and have always been passionate about learning.

As a therapist, I am relationally oriented and believe that healing happens in the context of awareness, safety, curiosity, and authentic connection. My work is grounded in psychodynamic theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment theory. I believe that when we can name and understand the patterns that shape how we connect, protect, and sometimes distance ourselves, new possibilities for change begin to emerge.

My Services

Working with Men

I have a particular passion for working with men navigating issues of personal identity, intimacy, vulnerability, anger and shame. Many of the men I work with come to therapy to work through traumatic experiences in their lives and better understand how these experiences have shaped their inner/outer worlds.

Together, we explore the parts of you that strive, numb, avoid, or react—and help you connect with the vulnerable parts underneath that long to be understood. I aim to help men connect with their mature masculine energies, build emotional awareness/literacy, develop clear and grounded communication and become more relational with themselves and others.

Working with Women

I also work closely with women who are struggling with relational trauma — whether from early attachment wounds, emotionally unavailable partners or experiences of chronic invalidation. These experiences often leave lasting imprints on one’s sense of safety, their ability to trust others, and relate in healthy ways to themselves.

Through a gentle, attuned process, I help women work through traumatic experiences in their lives, build inner resilience, explore the internalized patterns that keep them stuck in painful relational loops and cultivate healthier, more secure ways of relating.

Working with Couples

In my work with couples, I help partners move out of painful patterns and back into connection with one another. Together, we identify the dynamics that keep us stuck and build practical tools for honest communication, accountability and repair.

My goal is to support couples in creating a relationship grounded in love, mutual respect and lasting intimacy.
